A man wakes up with a severe hangover and no memory of his night out with friends.
As he gradually opens his eyes, he notices a bottle of aspirin and a glass of water on the bedside table. He scans the room and sees his clothes neatly folded on the dresser, with a clean shirt resting on top. The bedroom is spotless. On the bedside table, he finds a note that reads, “Darling, your breakfast is in the kitchen. I love you.”
When he goes downstairs, he discovers his favorite cereal, croissants, fresh orange juice, and freshly brewed coffee all waiting for him, along with the morning paper, and his 15-year-old son finishing his own breakfast.
“Tell me, son,” he asks, “what happened last night?”
The boy replies, “Well, you came home so incredibly drunk you didn’t even know your name. You nearly broke down the door, got sick in the hallway, and knocked over the furniture. When Mum tried to calm you down, you thought she was the police and gave her a black eye.”
“Holy cow!” the man exclaims. “Then how come my clothes are folded, the house is tidy, and breakfast is ready?”
The son explains, “When Mum dragged you into the bedroom and tried to help you get undressed, you yelled, ‘Get your filthy hands off me, you wh***re! I’m married!’”
