A “savage” wife taught her husband a tough lesson after he left her for a younger brunette.
“Divorce? John, you can’t be serious! And you want a fair share?” Nicky exclaimed, shifting nervously in her chair as her husband announced he was “tired” of his dull life and wanted to live freely.
John smirked. “Oh, Nicky! You had to see this coming. We both know there’s nothing left between us. I don’t want to spend my life sulking with you. I want to live—like a free man. I’ll find someone beautiful, not a dead weight like you! So yes, I’m divorcing you.”
“And you think I’ll let you off that easily? Not a chance, John!” Nicky shot back. “If you want to live like a free man, fine. But I won’t sign the divorce papers, and you won’t get a dime, not even a share!”
“You can’t do that, Nicky! If you refuse to sign, I’ll make sure you have no choice!”
Nicky laughed. “Oh, poor Johnny! What are you going to do? Bring home a mistress? Those young girls you’ve been with won’t cook or clean for you like I did! I took care of you for 47 years! I raised our kids while you lounged on the couch, drank beer, and partied with friends. You think you can just walk away? Never!”
“Well,” John said, glancing at his watch, “I’m leaving for a trip to Mexico in an hour. I’ll be gone for six months. I’ve booked everything and used almost all of our savings.”
“Let’s see if you’ll get your divorce willingly or end up struggling to make ends meet and begging me for money. After all, what would a stay-at-home wife like you do without cash? Enjoy your time, honey,” he mocked. “I’m looking forward to Mexico!”
“What? How could you… That was our savings, John! How dare you spend it without discussing it with me?”
“I knew you’d make a fuss about the divorce, Nicky. That’s why I planned it this way!”
With that, John packed his things and left their home, leaving the divorce papers behind. “If you don’t want to face the consequences of your decision, sign them quickly. Otherwise, your life will be hell from now on!” he added before walking out.
Nicky broke down in tears as she watched him leave. John hadn’t been the best partner, but she had only recently discovered his infidelities with younger women who wanted nothing serious. He was trying to get rid of her and move on.
But Nicky wasn’t ready to let him go. After their children moved out, John was all she had left. Even after learning of his cheating, she remained silent, hoping things would improve, but they hadn’t. Now that he wanted a divorce, she was determined not to let him off the hook. Not this time, John! You won’t get away with it!
Three months later…
Nicky was in the living room, sipping raspberry tea and munching on cookies, when she heard the doorbell. Her jaw dropped when she saw John at the door. “What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be in Mexico?”
“Oh, Nicky! I’m so sorry for what I did!” he pleaded, dropping to his knees. “Please forgive me. I was wrong to leave you.”
Nicky was taken aback. “John, what’s going on? Let’s go inside and talk.”
“Oh, Nicky! Where do I start? I met a young girl, Maddison,” he began once they were settled. “She was beautiful, and I thought she loved me. We spent two months in Mexico together, but she was a con! She took all my money! We lived in her small apartment, and I did everything for her, including cooking and cleaning. She had two kids, and I babysat them because I thought she loved me. But every night…” he paused.
“We never slept together because her kids kept coming into the room, and she’d make excuses to leave. She promised to marry me, but it was all a lie…she was just after my money!”
“Oh, dear!” Nicky gasped. “That’s awful… You know what…” She started to speak when the doorbell rang again.
“Just a minute, John. Let me see who it is,” Nicky said as she walked to the door.
“Who is it, Nicky?… What—what are you doing here?” John was shocked to see Maddison at the door. “Nicky! She’s the one! She robbed me!”
The two women exchanged glances and burst into laughter.
“All right, John! I know everything. Meet Mandy—your Maddison. She’s the daughter of my friend and helped me gather evidence against my cheating husband! I warned you, John, you’d regret this! I tracked down your hotel on Facebook and called Maddison for help. This was all a setup, and I’m thrilled you fell for it!”
“What?” John shouted. “You did this on purpose?! You’ll regret it, Nicky!”
“No, John,” Nicky yelled back. “You’ll be the one losing out this time. Take your bags and leave my house immediately! I’m divorcing you, and I’ll make sure you don’t get a single cent! Now get out! GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!”
John grabbed his luggage and left, muttering something she didn’t care to hear. Nicky thanked Mandy for her help, and the two women enjoyed a cup of raspberry tea, laughing about how well their plan had worked.
A few months later, John and Nicky were officially divorced, and when their children learned what had happened, they sided with their mother and ridiculed their father for his actions.
