The former talk show host now lives in the English countryside and has her partner with her. They have enjoyed their time in the UK so far and they are not planning on returning to the United States.
It’s one thing to say it but another to act on it, and Ellen DeGeneres has now revealed that her final property in the United States has been sold. It’s probably a good thing, because she spent $18 million on a farmhouse in Cotswold.
DeGeneres was often outspoken about her real estate portfolio in America and she recently mentioned how she had sold her two-bedroom, two-bath home in Montecito, California.
Although they seem to be happy in the UK, there have been some issues with the move. This includes some problems they had with the neighbors, as they are trying to do an extension to their multimillion-dollar home.
No one is sure why they chose to move to Cotswold and not somewhere else, but it may be because it is a wealthy region of the UK and the scenery is beautiful. There are also a number of British celebrities who are purchasing country homes there, including Kate Moss, Victoria and David Beckham, and Jeremy Clarkson
