It was a quiet Sunday evening. The house was calm, the kids were finally asleep, and the couple sat sipping tea on the patio, basking in the rare peace that comes after a long day of adulting.
After 15 years of marriage—filled with love, arguments, burnt dinners, inside jokes, and shared dreams—the wife turned to her husband with a gentle smile and asked the kind of question that husbands around the world fear more than forgetting their anniversary:
“Honey… after all these years, how would you describe me in one sentence?”
The husband put down his cup slowly. He looked at her… long and hard… like a wise man about to deliver a profound piece of poetry.
Then, with the straightest face imaginable, he said:

“ABCDEFGHIJK.”
The wife blinked. “Wait… what?” she asked, her brows furrowing.
He leaned in slightly, voice calm, eyes twinkling.
“Adorable, Beautiful, Cute, Delightful, Elegant, Fashionable, Gorgeous… and Hot!”
A soft blush appeared on her cheeks. She giggled like a teenager. “Aww… that’s actually really sweet,” she said, clearly flattered. “But wait… what about I, J, and K?”
Without missing a beat, the husband smirked and replied:
“I’m Just Kidding!”
Dead silence.
The smile dropped from her face faster than his chances of sleeping in the bed that night. She stared at him like a judge handing down a life sentence.
“You were doing so well…” she muttered.
He, now laughing nervously, quickly added, “Babe, it’s just a joke! You’re actually all those things and more… and I’m definitely sleeping on the couch tonight, aren’t I?”
She took another sip of tea, smiled slyly, and said:
“Don’t worry, darling… I’ve already laid out a pillow for you.”
