Instantly, my lazy Saturday morning instincts kicked in, and I started thinking of excuses to avoid going. But then I remembered that he had towed my car at least twice, taught me how to parallel park, and introduced me to the profession in which I’ve been thriving for 14 years. This sparked a 3-month-long prank war, where the only rule was that it shouldn’t be too costly for the recipient. At one point, I posted numerous ads in a local marketplace, claiming I was selling a cheap laptop and iPhone, and included his number. He received over 300 calls on the first night. One of my friends is an enormous Harry Potter fan. Like many fans, he’s frustrated that he hasn’t received a letter from Hogwarts yet. Recently, he turned 30, and my friends and I decided to chip in and buy him a ticket to the…buy him a ticket to the UK so he could visit the Harry Potter Museum.
