Debbi and Steve Wood’s relationship has been put to the test by Debbi’s intense jealousy. Since meeting in 2011, their love has faced challenges, with Debbi’s Othello Syndrome diagnosis leading her to take drastic measures to ensure Steve’s faithfulness. From lie detector tests to monitoring his every move, Debbi’s jealousy has become a constant presence in their relationship.

Despite Steve’s reassurances and support, Debbi’s jealousy has led her to limit his activities and even restrict his access to media. Her mental health struggles, including bipolar disorder and body dysmorphic disorder, have further complicated their relationship.

While Debbi acknowledges her behavior may be extreme, she believes it’s necessary for her mental well-being. Steve, though sometimes frustrated, remains committed to their relationship, hoping Debbi will eventually find peace and confidence.

Their story highlights the destructive power of jealousy and the importance of addressing underlying issues. As Debbi seeks gastric band surgery to boost her confidence, she hopes to find a healthier balance in her relationship and enjoy life with Steve.
