Childhood films have always been known to slip in some quotes that aren’t really meant for kids, but it often takes an adult to understand their true meanings.
If you’ve never had these jokes pointed out to you, you’re in for quite a revelation.
While many quotes are pretty obvious, aimed at the parents who are reluctantly watching along, there are some scenes so sneaky that even the sharpest eyes might miss them.
Enter @kathy_martinez05. This TikToker discovered a hidden joke in “Shrek” that involves an unexpected character making an X-rated pass.
In the specific clip, Lord Farquaad is shown lounging in bed with a martini, asking the magic mirror to show him an image of Princess Fiona.
The mirror does so, though it looks rather displeased. If you pay close attention to the bed sheets, there’s a fleeting moment where a bulge appears.
It seems as though the villain is a tad too thrilled by the thought of the lovely princess. Absolute filth.
The TikToker posed the question, “Did anyone catch that?” and was soon flooded with reactions from fans of the movie, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Many said they would ‘never forgive’ her for drawing attention to that scene.
One person commented, “I’m not at all innocent but I am traumatized after this and understanding it now.”
Another asked, “Why? Why did they do that? Who agreed to animate that?”

Getting straight to the point, another individual quipped, “I know what I will bring up in my next therapy session now.”
This isn’t the first time a TikToker has managed to shatter our childhood memories by pointing out a very grown-up joke hidden in a kids’ movie.
Earlier this month, another TikToker noticed a scene in “Toy Story 2” that looks a lot more risqué when watched with adult eyes.

The film then cuts to Buzz, who looks utterly amazed, and his wings suddenly shoot out with the little lights at the ends starting to flash.
It’s a not-too-subtle sign of… er, excitement.
Sharing the clip online, TikTok user @lokilover227 asked, “What was a joke from a children’s TV show that went way over your head as a kid?”
Despite the movie being out for years, many people only just caught onto the risqué joke.
One user posted, “I just realized, OMG.” Another joked, “Buzz got a woody.”
A third asked, “Wait, so if that’s what Buzz does, what does Woody mean when he says ‘there’s a snake in my boot’?”
